Composition
Enoxin Vet solution: Each 1 ml solution contains Enrofloxacin BP 100 mg.
Description
Enoxin Vet is a dependable bactericidal and mycoplasmicidal drug. It is used in the prevention and treatment of CRD. Enoxin Vet is an antibiotic of the Quinolone group that inhibits the activity of bacterial DNA-gyrase enzyme, causes disruption of bacterial DNA replication & thereby causes bacterial death.
Indications
Enoxin Vet is very effective against various gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, Mycoplasma, Staphylococci, Streptococci, E. coli, Salmonella, Hemophilus, Klebsiella, and Pasteurella.
Dosage & Administration
Side Effects
Enoxin Vet is well tolerated for poultry at the recommended dose. However, it may cause developmental cartilage abnormalities.
Precautions
After the end of treatment, the watering system should be cleaned appropriately to prevent drug resistance. It should not be used for poultry resistance to any quinolone derivative because cross-resistance may develop.
Use in Pregnancy & Lactation
It should not be used in a layer within 14 days prior to the laying period.
Drug Interaction
Magnesium &Aluminium containing substances may hamper the absorption of Enoxin Vet from GI tract.
OverDose
In cases of significant overdose, transient reduction of mobility, and cramps may be seen.
Storage
Protect from light & keep in a cool and dry place. Keep out of reach of children.
